Eid al-Adha 2010

17th of Nov 2010...

it was Eid al-Adha dat day...

i flew back to kelantan to celebrate the feast with my family...

late ticket only got in the morning that raya....

on the sky flying back to kelantan

Eid al-Adha (Arabic: عيد الأضحى‎ ‘Īdu l-’Aḍḥā) or "Festival of Sacrifice" or "Greater Eid" is an important religious holiday celebrated by Muslims worldwide to commemorate the willingness of Abraham (Ibrahim) to sacrifice his son Ishmael (Isma'il) as an act of obedience to God, before God intervened to provide him with a ram to sacrifice instead.The meat is divided into three parts to be distributed to others. The family retains one third of the share, another third is given to relatives, friends and neighbors, and the other third is given to the poor & needy.

Eid al-Adha is celebrated annually on the 10th day of the 12th and the last Islamic month of Dhu al-Hijjah (ذو الحجة) of the lunar Islamic calendar. Eid al-Adha celebrations start after the Hajj, the annual pilgrimage to Mecca in Saudi Arabia by Muslims worldwide, descend from Mount Arafat. The date is approximately 70 days (2 Months & 10 days) after the end of the month of Ramadan, i.e. Eid-ul-Fitr. Ritual observance of the holiday lasts until sunset of the 13th day of Dhu al-Hijjah.

I reached kota bharu at 830 in the morningafter took breakfast,

 everybody went to Uncle Hassan house for slaughter...

i wasnt there since im afraid of blood...

lots of guests came..

since my grandmother not well,

so my mum busy looked after her...

till nite time there's still guests came...

Woke up early in the morning because it still on Eid al-Adha...

i manege to visit my late sister's grave...

i went there with my cousin nina and my mother...

then also my late grand grandmother....

its a very old grave yard...



Nice weather.. it was not rain but it not hot..

Old grave..

its still a busy day for me...

since tere still relatives came...

cook and entertain them as i could...

its only time to spend with family during that feast...

since i seldom back to kota bharu...

but since October 2010 till the feast..

i'd been to kota bharu for 3 times....

1. my father fot heart attact...

2. my grandma had broken bone...

3.the feast...

4. looking forward to back to kota bharu during my brother's wedding....

time to back to work...

about nite time...

i had to packing to go back to kuala lumpur...

i work the next day...

till there...

see ya kota bharu....

about 8pm..

I saw the new proton espira at the airport...

i went to the airport with my brother,

about 11pm, i was in kuala lumpur already...

After lunch the on the second day...

(i didnt go for the lunch coz i was so sleepy... tried to sleep but i just cant...)

About 230pm... Nadzim called me, coz i was supposed to go to the spa for massage....

Get ready and i went join them downstairs...

May was in the same room with me for the spa...

That was the nicest spa i ever tried...

if im not mis taken, this spa village is one of top 10 spa in the world....

The van took us to the spa... there was may, cindy n the husband... peggy, angeline yong, hafiz, azri, nadzim, and few that i cant remember... ohhhh... Amy (tony's wife... my boss wife) and Joice (Mr. low's wife.. also my boss' wife)

it was very quite inside the spa village...
kids are not allowed to make sure that all the guests wont be disturb...

I saw toitises inside the koi pond...

1st of  all... They give us pandan drink... hahhaha... taste very wierd...

then.. they took us for food massage... so cute...

then, we got to change into sarong...

then we gotto take bath in under the 'rain water'...

at the same time, we got into the pool already...

then, we took bath under the crock...

may seem really enjoy it...

after that, we got to smell some aroam theraphy from spices...

there was 4 of them...

next...

we took japanese bath... used scoop... n seat on a small stool..

after that bath, we got some japanese tea and hot bath pool...

very nice...

dont feel like come out at all..

then, we got to change into another sarong... this sarong was batik and we can take the sarong back as souvenir from the spa...

the nice part was, we can choose the colour as desire...

i took the blue one since i just got one black sarong from my mum...

the was SPA VILLAGE PANGKOR LAUT writing on the sarong...

the, they scub us...

after take another bath, they asked us to take some rest...

i took this opportunity to take some photos..

imagine.. photos with sarong...

hahhahahaha....

then, we got our massage...

we got to choose the oil...

the massage was about 60 minutes...

i was almost sleep...

it was so relaxing....

the best spa i ever had....

again... THE BEST SPA....

after the spa i tot wanna go to my room n rest...

but i got no keys...

i called my roomate n she said she's at emerald bay....

so i took the van, n join them in the beach...

liza was there.. kak niza, zainal, edot, roy, khai, ayu, nadzim, herry n his wife... the kapas girl (harry's doughter)... i called her kapas (cotton) since she's very light n fair....

kapas.. she deserve the name.. which the father, harry still call her kapas till now...

at first, i didnt join them since i just finish my best spa....

but then, who can stand all those sound of joy...

the, i went into the sea...

played, enjoy...

really fun....

about 630pm..

we moved out n get ready for the dinner...

i tot the dinner was at 8pm...

This is where we had hour breakfast and dinner everyday...

Variety of food selection...
we got japanese, india, malay and english style there....

then i called hafiz, he said it actually at 7pm...

was rushed n get ready for the dinner...

i had my sushi that night...

after that, we got birthday party celebration for those born in september

 (we was there on september)...

got some dance again...

kids dance... makarena... etc...

everybody seem having fun....

after dinner i got to my room watching tv till morning...
edot n few other played card till 4am i guess...

26th September 2010

This is the last day....
i woke up very early n enjoy the bath at the open bath tad...
can clearly heard the monkey...
huhuhu....
but i still enjoy....

After that, i get ready for breakfast...
this is our last day here...
about 10am...
i went back to my room to get pack my things..
ready to go home....



My 370 room...


about 11.30am...
they pick up our baggage....
then, we just wait for the ferry to take us to Lumut jetty....

While waiting, snap photos n i got abit shopping...
bought 2 keychains, n 1 shirt as souvenir for myself...
cant afford to buy much coz the price was crazy....

Tony say my shopping bag n said....
"u r really shopping queen... u can turn any place to be a mall...."
hahhahaha....
quite true... maybe he saw me shopping at any trip we got together....

about 12... the ferry took us back to Lumut...
end of the so called HOLIDAY....
yeeeeeaaassss.....
hope to get more trip...
thanks to pangkor laut resort n thanks to my office...

pangkor laut part 1



Pangkor Laut Resort,
One Island One Resort





My office had arrange family day on 24th septtember to 26the september to pangkor laut island... one island one resort... very nice place....

24th September 2010

 I went to Lumut by bus, arranged by our office... some of us drove there... i was the last person get into the bus dat morning...

(it was down... 630am.... dats y i was late.. isnt it too early??)  hehehe....

with the rush, I left my glasses in the car.. bad huh... urmmm... luckly i got a cheap one at lumut... yey... i tot i gonna suffer from the sun (i got elergic from sunlight, my eyes ll turn red...)... urrmmmm....

the cheap sunglases from Lumut.. it was only RM18...





during the baggage check in...



From Lumut,  we went there by ferry... was very cold inside there... i almost freeze....

(Luckly im a mammals.. hehehe... but sometimes i wonder... is that true or im a reptiles coz i seriously cannot stand cold...

Here we were.. Pangkor Laut at 1245...

We're  ushered to a comfy seat and offered an icy cold face towel, scented with aromatic lemongrass, along with a welcome drink.

after that we had our lunch.. the best mee hoon i ever had...

while waiting for our room ready, we had our rest at so called library there. some of us got free massage...

i manage to took around... there was also a bar facing sea..

then, they took us to the room.. i was at room no 370..

i was with edot as my roomate...

our room got huge terrace... complete with sofa set...

we had an open bathtab..

large bed with television...

two wordrobe so we dont have to fight to keep our things...

2 large mirrow...

a sliding door between the bedroom and the bath area.. something like we got our own walk-in wordrobe...



after took a rest, i joined mrs j for jungle tracking to emerald bay...



Uncle Lim

We past this Uncle Lim restaurant, where we had our dinner for the day. the jungle tracking was so tyring but not for mrs n mr j... respect to them since they are 70s already... huhuhu... where's all my stamina....

At last, we found ou way to the beach... it was cool, after jungle tracking then we rest n get wet by the sea...

our dinner was at 7pm.

some of us joined mrs j for poco2 after the dinner. Mrs Lim was a good dancer that night.

after that, we tried ti catch the live band at the bar near the swimming pool but....

there was no live band that night... pity ussss....

25th September 2010

i got ready to go for poco-poco dance with mrs j at emerald bay that day...

tried to wake my friends up but...

nobody wanna join me...

so i decided to go alone n called mrs j....

suddenly, i hear my room mate called me,

"please wait, i wanna join u...."

so i wait for her, the we went to emarald bay...

suppose to had sunrise...

it was so peacefull that morning... with the water, the morning wind from the sea... something i cant get in the city....

we suppose to have our breakfast at 8am... and it was late that time after we finished the poco-poco....

now only i knew that i seriusly cannot dance...

i broke all the step... hahahhaha....

sorry mrs j...

mrs j was suggested us to get bath then take our breakfast but edot n me was decided to straight away go to the cafe...

so... here we are...

wait wait....

on the way there, we met Faiz's family...

took some photograph of the cute little daughter...

ooooo..... isn't that really cute... adorable....

i had nasi lemak, roti canai as per suggested by mrs j...

and dont forget the fresh juice, as u wish for...

they prepared for me....

ooooooooo.......

i had like 3-4 glasses that day...

as the finishes, i got hot cappucino...
